Moment billionaire steps off SpaceX Polaris Dawn in ’risky’ private spacewalk

A billionaire astronaut has exited a SpaceX capsule and is in the middle of carrying out the first ever private spacewalk as part of the company’s “risky” mission to test out new spacesuits. The Polaris Dawn’s mission, the riskiest yet by the Elon Musk-led company, began shortly after 11am UK time at 700km (435 miles) in altitude, and involves two astronauts venturing outside Crew Dragon while the other two remain inside.
