The Homeless Crisis of Los Angeles : Exploring Skid Row

Los Angeles has a homeless crisis that is out of control. I ride my scooter through the Skid Row district of Downtown LA. Officially known as Central City East, there are about 50 blocks that belong to this district. Skid Row is home to between 4,200 to 8,000 individuals at any given time. It is the largest homeless encampment in the United States and is truly shocking to see.
