I just knew I had to squeeze this little thumper in here sometime in GOOD quality (some crappy uploads here of it) Rooted at Gage Park and Kelly High Schools, this group started out as the Artie & the Night Trippers in 1964. Guitarist Robert “Bo“ Blider joined and they became Half Pint & The Fifths. Their only output is this single. Orphan Boy was (as well as the flip “Loving On Borrowed Time“(*) written by Larry Nestor btw - a story based on a young homeless pool hustler whom he had met in the 60’s.
