Insane Supercar Junkyard! The Disneyland Of Barn Finds…
When you think of junk metal, you think crushed cans, warped construction beams and perhaps an old alloy wheel or two. What you don’t expect is perhaps the most incredible privately-owned collection of classic cars ever assembled — otherwise known as the Rudi Klein Collection.
Klein never made his collection viewable to the public and as a result set into motion one of the car world’s great rumour mills. But now that it’s coming up for auction, we know exactly what he pulled together!
The collection features countless finds including a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL ’Alloy’ Gullwing, 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 by Bertone, 1935 Mercedes-Benz 500 K ’Caracciola’ Special Coupe by Sindelfingen, 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC by Pininfarina, 1962 Porsche 356 B 1600 ’Twin-Grille’ Roadster by D’Ieteren...
Okay we think you get the idea, the list is… rather special indeed. Good job Top Gear’s Editor-in-Chief Jack Rix is on hand to walk you through this amazing collection.
