The Nakshtras (Stars) as per Yajur Veda is 28 including a Star “Abhijit“. The Star names, starts from Krittika, and ends with Bharani. As per Astrology, there are 27 Stars (starts from Ashwini and ends with Revati) excluding “Abhijit“, since the length of this Star Mandalam in the Orbit is very small. This is 21st Star - in between Uttaraashaadhaa (20) and Sravanam (22). There are 30 Mantras in this Suktam = 28 for Stars, 1 for Pournamaasi (Mantra ) and 1 for Amaavaasi (Mantra ) In this audio, we have recited 29 Mantras, excluding Mantra No. 30 for Amaavaasi.
