Sloth rescued from highway by police in Peru

Police in Peru rescued a sloth that was spotted trying to cross a busy highway. The video posted on their social media, shows an officer which approached the animal with extreme care, and proceeded to pick it up from the street. The policeman was then filmed releasing the animal in the wild, in a nearby forest which was described as “his habitat“.
