New Haven, CT - Trying The World’s 1st Hamburger 🍔 & Is New Haven Style Pizza The BEST?

So in this instalment of our New England road trip, we visit New Haven, CT. We decided to visit New Haven mainly for 2 reasons, Sally’s Apizza and Louis Lunch. In case you didn’t know New Haven is regarded by some as the best pizza style in America, and as we like watching Dave Portnoys pizza reviews Sally’s Apizza was a must try for us and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We got 2 pizzas to try, and both were outstanding, Kev even got to take a look at the oven up close, and I’m surprised he didn’t burn off his eyebrows. it’s that hot!! As we were in Little Italy Kev also had to try a cannoli, whilst Stacey had another slice of pizza, lol. Also, New Haven is home to America’s or maybe even the world’s 1stHamburger Sandwich at Louis Lunch. This 130 year old burger institution is a MUST visit, not just for the burger but also for the atmosphere inside this tiny building with names inscribed over everything and 130 year old upright burger cookers, its a piece of history in itself as the building was moved at one point on the back of a truck after it was saved from demolition. We decided to walk off some of this food by walking up to East Rock Park, which offers some amazing views over New Haven. We finish off the vlog with a 3 hour drive up to Albany, NY, which sets us up for our next video that you will see in our New England series Thanks for watching Here is our New England Road Trip Playlist - Click here for our Patreon - Follow us on Instagram to keep up with our latest adventures And as always, thank you to each and every one of you who supports the channel.
