False Witness – Montagem (feat. Khabraal)

FALSE WITNESS continues to blur boundaries between Techno Music and Contemporary Art. The Montagem EP offers four new takes on the genre, blending sound design and poetry with elements of Circuit House and Dembow. “Montagem“ (Montage, Installation, or Assemblage in Portuguese) is the title track featuring spoken word from their longtime friend Khabraal aka Pedro Freire, a Brazilian DJ and designer based in Los Angeles. The accompanying video for the track plays on the montage motif, where the artist colorfully remixes both influential & historically significant works of video art by AA Bronson, Andrea Fraser, Cory Arcangel, Nam June Paik, Korakrit Arunanondchai, Soft Cell, Matthew Barney, Ashland Mines and Isa Genzken.
