Dubai Healthcare City With a futuristic approach, Dubai Healthcare City is designed by Kalbod Architects to build a multi-functional complex focusing on medical services on Dubai seashores. The creative integration of digital and sustainable architecture, geographic and social conditions of the region, and acknowledging the future needs of tourists and citizens of Dubai were the primary fuels for designing the world’s largest medical tourism center in the Persian Gulf. The project is defined in five different layers with a pedestrian-oriented approach. Each layer is dedicated to a specific use: the underwater layer consists of the main entrance, the only access route for cars and public transportation, as well as pedestrian access and public green spaces. The next level focuses on the futuristic approach of the design and is designed for predicted future transportation.
