Zoo (Volkerschau)-Behind the Scenes (Co-Produced by District Entertainment)

Two girls prepare for a fun day at the 1958 World’s Fair in Brussels, Belgium, with the same expectations and very different outcomes. ZOO captures a day at Volkerschau, a ’human zoo’, or Negro Village, from the point of view of two 7 year old girls, one African and the other German. They both anticipate seeing a live show featuring an exotic creature. What they expect and what occurs are drastically different.
