Argentina expands nuclear energy with China’s help

Argentina will be expanding its nuclear power sector after reaching an agreement  this month with the China National Nuclear Corporation to build a new plant using China’s Hualong One technology. In an 8-billion-dollar deal, this will be Argentina’s fourth nuclear power plant. The agreement was made shortly before President Fernandez travelled to Beijing and Argentina formally joined China’s Belt and Road Initiative. CGTN’s Joel Richards has this report.
