50s Country Hillbilly Bopper from Bakersfield - B & A-Side Capitol Records F2813 - His First Recording with Cousin Herb Henson Bands (May 1954) Dallas Frazier (October 27, 1939 - January 14, 2022) born in Spiro, Oklahoma was an American country musician and songwriter who had success in the 1950s and 1960s. At age 12, he was already writing songs and won a talent competition hosted by Ferlin Husky. By age 14, Frazier was recording for Capitol Records. In 1960, Frazier had his first success as a songwriter, when “Alley Oop” became a pop hit for the Hollywood Argyles. Three years later, he moved to Nashville. #Dallas #Frazier #Early
