Illegal Chimpanzee Baby Pets

These chimp babies were purchased by an expatriate in Greenville, Liberia in July 2012 from a Liberian who had just killed their mother. It is illegal to kill primates in Liberia, and purchases of primates by expats incentivizes further killings by locals to supply the demand for pets.
