Fastrac 8000 - Safety

High speed road travel brings welcome benefits but also responsibilities. That’s why every JCB Fastrac has a unique combination of safety features. Unique external disc brakes on all four wheels provide maximum stopping power on a tractor that can be driven at up to 70kph on the road and bring a Fastrac and its load to a halt up to 15% quicker than conventional tractors. Truck standard air braking and anti-lock system (ABS) for skid-free controllable tractor and implement or trailer braking in all conditions come as standard on the 8000 series. And that’s not all; a fail-safe set-up ensures the brakes are applied even in the event of loss of pressure. Finally, the new hydrostatic dual steering system significantly reduces operator effort whilst meeting the exceptional safety standards for high speed tractors.
