He studied classical guitar with the Italian composer-conductor Giovanni Podera, and won the First National “Pasquale Taraffo” Prize of the 13th Guitar Competition from Genoa (Italy) in the youth category at age 11. He then began his studies with Maestro Giorgio Oltremari at the “Istituto Musical de Bergamo G. Donizetti” and after 10 years of study, he graduated with the highest marks.
