By all accounts, the game should’ve been the next big esport with Riot’s support and such a strong IP to work with how could it possibly fail?. But it wasn’t. Instead of being a household name and pulling in viewership by the millions, the game that was seemingly too big to fail quickly faltered and the game’s competitive scene was quickly killed off.
