Pancevo, Serbia ... Polluted City or Beautiful City?

I finally decided to take a trip to Pancevo, Serbia. I have a really good friend that lives there and he had told me all about the beautiful sites and places to visit. I really didn’t believe him because all my Serbian friends told me so many negative things about Pancevo. They had told me things like “it is the most polluted city in Serbia! You can’t see your hand in front of your face due to all the smog!“ The second my buddy and I got off the bus, I was a little blown away. my friend walked me around the majority of the town that has a MASSIVE center park, a gorgeous massive church from the early 1800’s, a restaurant in the shape of a big windmill, an old train that serves as a coffee shop, tons of unique and beautiful buildings, lots of little boat houses and bars on the river, and one restaurant that can only get to by boat! :) I saw none of the pollution or smog that I was warned about. Pancevo is beautiful!!! It is only a 20 minute bus ride from Belgrade!!! CHECK IT OUT!
