Dangjin dog meat farm shutdown

The Dangjin dog meat farm was our most personal dog meat farm shutdown. The farm was discovered by a fateful accident when FKD founder EK Park returned home to Korea to visit her mother. While driving through the countryside, her GPS took her on a wrong turn and instead led her to discover the farm. Hearing the cries of the dogs, EK couldn’t believe such horrors were happening in the very place she grew up in. Determined to set them free, she promised the dogs she would come back for them. Although preparations took nearly a year, she in fact kept her promise. On September 1st, 2019, EK led a team of volunteers to liberate the 69 dogs from a cruel and brutal fate, destroying the cages once and for all.
