Tuesday 2nd April 2024: Sigh, it was just announced last night by Midge Ure that yet another one of leading lights of British music has sadly passed away... Chris Cross (real name Chis Allan) one of the founding members of Ultravox has passed away aged 71. Chris died on the 25th of March 2024 but the news of his death wasn’t announced until late last night... Chris co-wrote Vienna which was Ultravox biggest hit, as the bands bass player it has been said by Midge that Chris “was the glue that held the band together“... Thanks Chris for being the driving force that created Ultravox and brought us music loving fans one of the greatest synth bands of all time, your legacy and music will live on forever... RIP Ultravox - The Voice (1981) (HD) Took the original footage for this one which was made for a European TV pop show but which was only 3 and half minutes long and extended it to fit the full original track length... ;-)
