Hello friends! In this tutorial I will be working a wooden jewelry box with a polymer clay texture, and on the lid, I will be working a decoupage with rice paper. All the colours used should be in harmony and the result should be pleasant, delicate to the touch and very practical to use. The first thing I do is the polymer clay texture. I need a polymer clay stretching machine, a square shaped extruder and lots of polymer clay. I really wanted a polymer clay slicer , so I made myself one, which you can find here I needed an electric oven in which to bake the polymer clay for 50 minutes at a temperature of 130 degrees Celsius. On the lid, I work a decoupage with rice paper and bicomponent cracking varnish. Both components should be liquid and easy to spread. Otherwise, we dilute the first component with water and the second component with solvent-based alcohol. Finally, finish the base of the box with clear wax and a thin layer of solvent-based gloss varnish on the lid. Thank you for watching!
