[Petscop PMV] Christmas Kids

everything i wish to say is below: reference to petscop lol i think this song is very very fitting to the themes of petscop, hopefully this video shows why. its the classic thinking about a piece of media as you listen to a song sort of deal, i always have a lot of fun seeing the movie in my head come to life and im grateful im able to do that. also i wanna talk a little bit about the series because i think simply seeing it as a lost media internet horror series takes away from its meaning and artistic value. the creator of petscop said that whatever your interpretation of the series is, it has just as much validity as what was intended, and that stuck out to me as something especially meaningful. i understand what he meant when he said his ideas evolved as he created the series, i know exactly how that is and i dont think its fair to criticize him for it. also, for that reason, theres a lot of grounds on which some really beautiful meaning can sprout from, and especially considering the heavy and personal themes found in the game, that is something i cherish in the series. i personally see it as a collage of ideas and concepts, like one of those i-spy tubes of rice with little items inside it that you turn the tube around to find. when youre making a piece of art and trying to articulate something as personal and difficult and complicated as the stuff you find in petscop, it usually ends up being like that. if youve gone through anything similar to care, or belle, or paul, you can identify and interpret stuff other people cant. i think thats really cool. as always i hope you enjoy! song’s christmas kids by roar!
