Flashpoint Kaliningrad? Russian Leader Warns Off Poland, Warsaw Fears Wagner Threat At Suwalki Gap
Amid escalating tensions on the Poland-Belarus border, a Russian lawmaker has issued a strong warning to Poland. Andrey Gurulyov specifically lashed out at Polish troop deployments near Russia’s Kaliningrad exclave during a television interview. Gurulyov warned Poland that any move towards Russia’s territory would “end badly” for Warsaw. This as Poland has been on high alert after Russian mercenary group, Wagner PMC, was relocated to Belarus, close to the Polish border.
