AS 144 - Blue moon - unplugged 1951 Gibson L7-C

Hey guys, new guitar on the channel today. I had the opportunity to borrow this 17 inches Gibson L7-C from 1951 to record 2 videos, “Blue Moon“ unplugged, and “Night and Day“ plugged in with the nice Mccarthy Pickup. I’ll go back to posting only once a week during the next few months since the gigging situation seams to be back. Blue Moon was composed in 1934 by Richard Rodgers, with lyrics by Lorenz Hart. I love that song but never learnt the lyrics until this month. I’ve heard both Sinatra version and Mel Torme’s a lot. I’m playing a 1951 Gibson L7-C, strung with Thomastik Benson round wound gauge 12 (but i’ve changed to a G wound), using a Dunlop tortex pick. The sound is captured by a Neumann TLM 103 and a Bluebird. If you’d like to support the channel, please donate to : I’ve decided to take a couple of student for online classes so hit me up if you’re interested.
