A downpour hits Cizre, Türkiye! Highways and Streets turned into lakes

Cizre was hit by a heavy rainstorm leading to the streets being flooded and turned into lakes. The downpour was so intense that the manholes overflowed, and some houses and workplaces on the ground floor were flooded. The fire crews and locals helped evacuate those trapped in their homes. Pedestrians and drivers faced difficulties due to the accumulation of water on the streets. The municipal teams started cleaning the roads, and approximately 60 houses and vehicles were damaged in Cudi, Sur, Nur, Caferi Sadık, Vatan, Yafes, and Dağ neighborhoods due to the accumulated water. No casualties were reported, but the houses and properties suffered damage.
