Exactly one month later Sum 41 released a new version of a song I had never heard before. Thankfully it showed up in my Spotify recommendations. This song completely expressed all the feelings of sadness, frustration, anger, and regret that I was feeling. I listened to it over and over, and felt compelled to record a cover, both because it helped me deal with my own emotions, and I also wanted to record it for anyone else who may have experienced something similar with someone close to them. - John Sprocket
