LIVE: Anti-TTIP, anti-CETA demo take place in Hannover day before Obama and Merkel visit

Thousands of protesters are due to take to the streets of Hannover on Saturday, April 23, to demonstrate against the potential ratification of both the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) agreements, a day before US president Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel visit the city to take part in the opening ceremony of the Hannover Messe 2016 at the Hannover Congress Center (HCC).
