06-16-2023 Pensacola, FL - Tornado and Major Storm Surge Event - Vosots

The tornado then moved offshore and intensified, bringing really strong southerly winds over Pensacola beach. I talked to numerous residents and they all reported that 4-8 feet of storm surge swept over the island from the bay and a one guy nearly got into big trouble being swept off his feet and nearly drowning. The residents described it as a wall of water that came in very fast. He gave us his ring camera footage to use. Very good story telling package for this rare and significant event.
