Dark is the night is a famous soviet love song, inspired of the great patriotic war. Somehow describes the power of love, that keeps alive a soviet soldier, that he promise to his wife that he will be back to her and their newborn child. Greek artist Ioannis Kofopoulos, the last years, started to study those soviet lyric love songs, and he decide to tranlate them in his native language, the Greek. This is the first of the songs that he is arranged. Is dedicated to the Great Victory of the people of Soviet Union, 9th May of 1945.
