Neighbors saw that a street dog was desperately wounded with a massive wound that had cut her open at the cheek and under her lower jaw and throat. They themselves rushed her to our hospital and into emergency treatment. When we received this bleeding, nearly-delirious girl, we were surprised that she was alive. We leapt into action and within minutes had treated her for pain, started a drip, cleaned, closed and bandaged the huge open wound.
