Seestadt, the large urban development area and a city of its own in the 22nd district (Donaustadt) of Vienna. Vienna is growing faster than almost any other city in Europe. And of course you need space for that. Space that is (still) available on the outskirts of Vienna. You either love Seestadt or you don’t like it at all. There doesn’t seem to be anything in between. On the one hand, it provides many residents in Vienna with an affordable apartment, on the other hand, there is a lack of shopping, culture and entertainment.
