Eric Shanteau Survives Cancer to Win a Medal!

Eric Shanteau was diagnosed with cancer two weeks before the 2008 Olympic trials. Despite testicular cancer, Eric won an Olympic place to compete at Beijing 2008, where he placed 10th in the semi-finals. In September 2008, he announced cancer free after the chemotherapy.
