The only solo album of the American blues singer, who began her career as a backing vocalist. She worked with many bands and artists - “The Persuaders” along with David Johnson (who plays the guitar in her solo album), with Lou Reed (song “Coney Island Baby”), “Commander Cody”, Jerry Jeff Walker, “Alice & The Wonderland Band ”and many others. In 1972, she became the lead vocalist of the New York band White Cloud. Subsequently, she again worked as a session vocalist. She was married to drummer Richard Crooks. She died in 1998.
