The theme for the Junya Watanabe SS22 collection is Eastern Reminiscence. “I felt the pure heart of the people through the photographs of Jamie Hawkesworth’s trip to Bhutan, India and Kashmir, and became nostalgic for Asia. This collection is an expression of this sentiment.” - Junya Watanabe As a compliment to Jamie’s photography, Watanabe sourced prints and illustrations from a variety of international artists: Phannapast Taychamaythakool, Ang Tsherin Sherpa, Wang Dongling, Jacky Tsai, Keiichi Tanaami, Marta Olga Klara, Nissaco and Akiko Kondo.
