1968 Evinrude “Mate“ outboard motor canoe motor

March 16, is the 1968 Evinrude Mate outboard motor I just finished bringing back to life. I bought this little guy from a fellow at work last month. I normally wouldn’t have taken on something like this, but the thing is so small and light, I couldn’t help but give it a second go at life. It weighs a whopping 20.4 lbs with a full tank of gas, and it’ll work just fine on the back of my flat back canoe. Surprisingly, Evinrude still has an active parts listing for not all parts
