G&L S-500

The GL S-500 was ahead of it’s time in the 80’s, and it’s modern feature set still keeps it running at the front of the pack today. It’s Magnetic Field Design pickups have all the richness of a vintage single coil, but with more output and less noise, making the GL S-500 a great axe for recording. The PTB system allows for separate treble and bass controls for each pickup, and in conjunction with the mini toggle switch can pull tons of tones from this guitar. Whammy to your heart’s content with the improved dual fulcrum trem. You’ll stay in tune through the most aggressive vibrato action, and the substantial mass of this bridge lends to the GL S-500’s huge tone and sustain. A comfortable “C“ shape neck and modern 12“ radius rosewood fretboard means that comfort and playability will never be lacking. And in a nod to it’s vintage lineage, this GL S500 features a Select Alder body with a classic 3-tone sunburst finish.
