Fardier de Cugnot - The Chariot of Fire

Tampa Bay Automobile Museum’s reproduction of the Fardier de Cugnot; the world’s first self-propelled vehicle. This is a faithful reproduction of the 18th Century steam carriage, a historically significant vehicle which was developed in France to transport artillery cannons during a time of war. This video shows that the Fardier works, and it works rather well!
