The Sengey Tsewa practice, a literal translation of which means ‘Play of the Lion’ is a form of meditative practice that originated in the Drukpa lineage with the 4th Gyalwang Drukpa Kunkhyen Pema Karpo and has been practiced within the lineage since centuries. According to Tantric Buddhism, the practice is a way of cutting off attachment and ego. Practitioners have to have their body, speech and mind in alignment as a form of offering. With this deeper realization, the Singey Tsewa practice is performed.
