Balagova-Quandour’s Cherkess

A short documentary in memory of the tragic exodus of Circassians from their homeland in the Caucasus in 1864. Many consider this event a form of Genocide by the Russian occupiers and the Circassian Diaspora (approx. 10 million) note the 21 of May every year as their day of mourning.
