And I repeat that what has been said by other people, purely other people already in this debate and before, that the Soviets have only themselves to thank for the creation of this North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. Had the Soviet Union chosen to continue the friendship alliance that existed during the last war and which we seek still to have, there would be no need for a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation. Mr Vyshinsky in his speech used a phrase which I particularly note, he talks about countries marching to victory under the communist banner.
