After a string of remix duties McKeown & Bassiray return to their home ground Zero Tolerance with the “Behaved EP“ featuring two new original records “An Introduction“ and “Flat Surfaces“. “An Introduction“ was premiered on Depth Institute’s Balance Selections mix last year and has been a highly requested release on the label. The opening record navigates a cinematic progressive mood, emphasizing subtleties with a driving tribal crescendo that is nuanced and heavily detailed. “Flat Surfaces“ draws inspiration from dubbier territory, with submerged percussion and a hypnotic arrangement that gradually envelopes and marinates over time. This twisted story is elevated by a level of familiarity for the ZT faithful whilst offering a forward-looking perspective, acknowledging the label’s evolving trajectory.
