Acre Ottoman Aqueduct, Israel Provided water to the inhabitants of Acre. It was built in antiquity. renovated in the 18th century by Jezzar Pasha. The source from which water flowed through the aqueduct is located in Kabri(Kabri spring). Twice destroyed by the French, and twice rebuilt. Ceased to function after the Israeli War of Independence.
