This video is about the Finnish volunteers for the Waffen-SS in the Second World War. In WW2 Finland was attacked by the USSR during the 1939-1940 Winter War. Because of this conflict Finnish anti-Russian and anti-Soviet attitudes deepened. Around 1,400 Finnish men served as volunteers in the Waffen-SS during World War II. The men of the Finnish Waffen-SS served in the Wiking Division in the Finnish Volunteer Battalion.
