Ikee Rikako 🇯🇵 inspires the whole world: “I am proud of who I am”

Six-time Asian games champion Ikee Rikako was in the hospital for 10 months after her leukaemia diagnosis in 2019, losing 15 kilos and battling the effects of chemotherapy. Japan’s Rikako Ikee earned spots on two relay teams at Tokyo 2020 about two years after being diagnosed with leukaemia.
