Ilya Shymanovich World Record holder in Swimming

Ilya Shymanovich is a Belarusian Swimmer (born on August 2, 1994 and training in Minsk). He is the World Record holder in the short course 100 m breaststroke and is one of the two current world record holders in the short course 50 m breaststroke. At the 2018 World Swimming Championships he won two silver medals, one each in the 100 m breaststroke and the 50 m breaststroke. He won two gold medals, one in the 50 m breaststroke and one in the 200 m breaststroke, and a silver medal, in the 100 m breaststroke, at the 2021 European Short Course Championships.
