Marcello Giombini - Gemini

This marvellous piece of music came to my attention a few days ago! This is yet another Italian artist who flirted with synthesizers and space disco boogie back in 1981. Sweet analog drops of drums, excelent atmosphere and a perfect mellody on top! Without doubt Mr Giombini gives us a strong hint on his virtuosity! Its tracks like these that make me uderstand why Italy has always been such a strong player in EDM. Of course “Astromusic“ LP is more of an electronic psychedelic work rather than space / italo disco. I must say though that this track which is the exception stands far above the rest.... It still sounds so fresh that -hell- I can throw it in a set even today and have people dance to it!!! Enjoy!
