Rinse the shrimp, oysters, and clam meat in salt water. ② In a pot, bring 2 cups of water and a pinch of salt to a boil. Add the seafood and blanch for about 30 seconds. ③ Trim and wash the green onions, cutting them to fit the length of your frying pan. Slice the green and red chili peppers diagonally. ★ If the heads of the green onions are thick, cut them in half lengthwise. ④ In a bowl, mix 2 cups of pancake mix with 2 cups of water. Beat the egg with a pinch of salt. ⑤ Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan. Pour a ladleful of batter into the pan and spread it out into a circle. Arrange the green onions on top, add the seafood, and drizzle a little more batter over it. ⑥ Cook until golden brown on both sides. Add the chili peppers and some egg mixture on one side before flipping to cook through. Cooking Kimchijeon (Kimchi Pancake) ① Chop the aged kimchi into small pieces using scissors. ② Finely chop the green onion and green chili peppers. ③ In a large bowl, mix the kimchi, green onion, and chili peppers. Add red pepper powder, brown sugar, pancake mix, and water, and mix until smooth. ★ Using fine red pepper powder enhances the flavor. ④ Heat a generous amount of oil in a pan. Pour the batter into the pan and spread it out thinly. ⑤ Once the batter starts to cook, swirl the pan to let the oil reach the center. ★ This is a tip for making crispy kimchi pancakes! ⑥ When the edges start to cook, flip the pancake. ⑦ Cook the other side while swirling the pan again. Flip once more and cook until fully done. Cooking Gamjajeon (Potato Pancake) ① Peel the potatoes using a vegetable peeler and then slice them thinly. ② Rinse the sliced potatoes in cold water several times to remove the starch, then drain well. ★ Removing the starch is essential for a crispy texture! ③ In a bowl, mix the drained potatoes with 2 cups of pancake mix, a couple of pinches of salt, and a dash of pepper. ★ If you like spicy food, add some chopped green chili peppers. ④ Heat a generous amount of oil in a preheated pan. Place the batter in the pan and cook over medium heat until golden brown. ⑤ Flip the pancake when the edges turn golden and the center becomes transparent. Cooking Makgeolli Shake ① In a bottle, combine 2 cups of makgeolli, 2 cups of milk, 1 tablespoon of condensed milk, and ice. ★ For a sweeter taste, add an extra tablespoon of condensed milk. ② Shake well until the mixture is smooth and creamy. ★ Shake thoroughly to achieve a thicker consistency!
