Knowing how to execute a timely disengagement can make all the difference when trying to attack. In many cases, our attack is not strong enough or in time to land successfully. Being able to drop your point below or above a searching blade and then continue your attack unhindered is invaluable. And so, too, is knowing the appropriate distance for certain disengagements.
