Elvis loves his “Best Friend’s Girl:“ Dolores Hart

Actress Dolores Hart appeared in 10 films between 1957 and 1963, two of them with Elvis Presley, including these scenes from “King Creole“ in 1958. “The Girl of My Best Friend“ was a tune released by Elvis in April 1960 (thank you very much “Elvis Doo Wop“ producers, for making it available to us on YouTube). This film compilation was made by John LeGear at in suburban Chicago on December 21 2020 (as the planets were literally aligning) for the film history series “Movie Music Romance.“ The first “Movie Music Elvis“ show will be hosted by the Thomas Ford Memorial Library in Western Springs, Illinois on January 6, 2021, followed two days later by McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois, on what would have been Elvis’s 86th birthday.
