There Goes Concorde Again

Much of the footage for this film was made by William from ...and the Native Hipsters in 1979. It was shot out of the window of their flat on Battersea Rise, London. Which was also the window William was looking out of when he wrote the lyrics to the song. The single ’There Goes Concorde Again’ was released by ...and the Native Hipsters in 1980. John Peel played it a bit and it sold over 5,000 copies at the time. The Hipsters went on to realease two other records - ’Larry’s Coming Back’ and ’Tenderly Hurt
