Ice fishing for carp in Virignia. The weather got freakishly cold in Northern Virginia and for a few days small ponds in Virginia barely froze enough to walk on them. So I spent President’s Day ice fishing for carp for the first time since I moved to Virginia. The ice was only 2“-3“ thick so not exactly safe. I had a rope tied around me with a trailer hitch on the other end and my friend waiting behind the wheel. Not the best idea ever, but we lived to fish another day.
